IWM Duxford

The place is called Imperial War Museum, which sound unusual in our times. It’s also misleading - there are quite a few civilian aircrafts, and very little non-flying war machines. Some exhibits are airworthy, in fact you can fly in a Spitfire if you have 3000 pounds to spare (if you don’t, at least you can watch). You can also see some planes in the middle of the restoration. Highlights include Concorde, SR-71 Blackbird, V-1, A-10.
